Looks like a 1889 or MAYBE a 7?

Anyway half a box down thought I'd share. After getting skunkerooed on $175 in dimes, I was glad to find two war nicks in one roll!

nice score rachums. 2 silver in a box is great, let alone one roll!

9 rolls tonight, not much luck. Somebody must have been saving up some 1964's and decided to dump them. Ended up with about two and a half rolls of them, two solid rolls and the rest mixed in.

1~ 1985 Canadian
1~ 1948
1~ 1960
5~ 1960d
1~ 1961d
2~ 1962
5~ 1962d
2~ 1963
1~ 1969s
1~ 1970s

I always find a ton of 1964's, so unless you found an insane amount it's probably normal.

Box #25 down:
Alright results. After going to a coin show it looked pretty boring without any Barber dimes or Seated Liberty half dollars or danish thalers.
no silver-that puts me 26/24-better than most I geuss
1-1955! my third
1-dateless buffalo with a "D" mintmark. It's interesting because the entire "Five Cents" part is worn away except for a tiny spot that says "D"
2-canadians

I'll be sure to get that Buffalo along with the rest of them I have into some vinegar tonite!
Not a bad box, would have been perfect with some silver put I picked up enough at the coin show!

Can't believe it's been almost five months since I have been able to update this! For awhile thought I had to give it up; was legally blind in one eye for a number of weeks with an eye infection, and even though I can use it again to the point that I can go through coins, still might need surgery on it. Actually did give up coins for a couple months; got a quick headache every time I overworked the good eye. Anyway, back in the saddle again! Here is a 1000 roll update, to bring my total up to 21,000 rolls searched (840,000 nickels)

Thanks for the Welcomes! murrellington, I have finished two sets, with the 50d of course being the killer. The next toughest is the 39d of which I've come across five. I only have two other sets I'm trying to make, so at this point 50d is all I actively need for sets. Guess it all depends on luck, because from reading here I see many seem to have a great amount of luck with 1950d, but others are elusive, like the 44D. I've found a dozen of those. So, a lot of it is luck, which is why I wanted to go through so many coins. I wanted to try to eliminate "luck" from the equation and try to get a real cross section of what is left in circulation.

very impressive CND! and thanks for the response. By the way I hope your eye gets better if it isn't already. I hope to search half as many nickels as you one day. I'm really trying to finish a set. I've only done 20 boxes but I have a few keys down already and several semi keys.

I'm going to be going back and reading the last 20-25 pages to see how everybody is doing. Love seeing so many others doing this! Murrellington, you'll finish that set. And Nickelsearcher, it's good to be back. Working on the first box of the next 1000 rolls right now.
