Just thought I would mention...it is bad roll hunting behavior to dump your coins at the same place you order them. They may be OK at first but will get annoyed after a while. As the old saying goes....dont eat where you sheet...lol

unholyroller, yeah, that is generally considered a no-no. But once you wear out your welcome, you just have to buy the branch a dozen donuts.

Nice finds everybody! Boxes #49 and #50 down  100,000 nickels searched Total for these two boxes 2-silver 1943-S-P thats 37 silver/50 boxes searched!  no buffs no proofs no V's no proofs Dates 1938-S thats #2 1948-D(2) 1958 1949-S 1968D BU toned 1941-S (2) and more pre60s but not worth listing FYI-I dont save every pre60 nickel cause if I did id be broke! Heres a list of what I save for pre60s ALL BU 1938-P-S-D 1939-D-S 1940-D-S 1941-D-S 1946-S-D 1947-S-D 1948-S-D 1949-S-D 1950-P-D 1951-S 1952-S 1953-S 1955-P 1958-P its still a lot anyway good luck everybody! |

My wife gets a few rolls of pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters for my son each day. In the three rolls of nickels she got for him today, he found a 1938p and a 1943S.

Hit up $50 in CWR today. The Buff is the cleanest I have found, and the Canadian the oldest I have found.   |

Nice find jdot.
Box number 6 today, was 80% brinks 20% cwr, the CWR were looking bad, did all the brinks, finished with the other CWR, second to last roll landed a 1944 P. Gonna grab 2 boxes tommorrow for the weekend.

rachums - I just finished my 50th box recently too, and my hit rate for silver was 40 for my 50 boxes. yours is essentially identical. Not nearly as much silver as the half searchers find, but that's fine with me.

Not a single 2009 and only 1 Canadian (1989). The indian nickels must have been put in together as they were right next to each other in the bag. 10 pennies - nearly all pre 1982.

So apparently there is a thief in the neighborhood. I left a box of nickels in my car last night because I was going to the bank today. Well apparently I forgot to lock my car because they were gone this morning.   . I live in a pretty nice neighborhood and nothing like this has happened in 10 years. The ironic thing is that a lady from the church across from my house accused me of stealing items out of her purse on Monday because she saw someone "my height" running in the dark. Well obviously it wasn't me, but it just sucks. I guess its just bad karma or something. I guess the good news is that at least I got the good stuff out of the box first. |
