I just got through a couple of boxes, I'll have an update soon. Found a couple that filled some holes.
I also found my first Liberty Head...but it was so worn you could only see the outline of the face and a couple of stars, the back was completely worn.

Correction on the last post; need the 44s, not the 44 to complete the set.

I looked through $90 of paper wrapped nickel rolls this weekend. 11 rolls were all 1959 and earlier nickels. Someone cashed their stash in and I am the lucky one who found it. It is a good weekend!

If i'd come across those that really would have skewed my survey numbers! Congrats on finding all of the oldies!

coppernickeldaddy I bet you will find a 44 someday, I did, a counterfeit and I bet you find a 50 D before you find a 39 D. I predict you'll get those War Nickels next. I'm sorta surprised you are still searching for those. I think somebody should submit this to either Coin World for a story or maybe the Guiness Book of World Records. One or the other, when you finish your quest.

Just an update to those of you that think I've disappeared!
Still working on moving; my entire research station is still in boxes! I still have three updates that I need to put on here, and I believe the 6000 roll report is also due. Could be another week or so until I have my office unpacked; as soon as I do I'll be back to checking rolls again! Saw a thread on here that is also devoted to nickel roll searching where someone found a 39D! I still need that one, along with the 50d and a couple of pesky warnickel dates. Stay tuned; I will be back!
