Looks like it might be PSD. (Post-Stike-Damage) A closer image might show me more, but it looks like the metal moved outwards from the damage.

I can see where you are coming from coop. Weird how it originates from the ridge hump and not some other place though. Just a little too convenient I feel.

I'd definitely keep it for Ref. and educational purpose, otherwise the coin is in the rough shape.
