2012 D Lincoln Shield Cent With Unusual Coloring

I have never seen a Lincoln Shield cent with this coloring of finish. I don't think it is a marker that someone took to the shield cent as the luster changes as I rotate the coin in the light.

Has anyone here seen a Lincoln Shield cent or any other coin for that matter with this type of color?
