1942 Lincoln Cent "struck Through Feeder Fingers"

kelly619 New Member United States 9 Posts	Posted 12/02/2019 10:27 pm I know it's a long-shot. At first I thought it was just a vandalized coin. Could this be one of the many possible results from being struck through feeder fingers? Also, how would they (PCGS) even be able to verify this? Cant wait to hear your thoughts on this one! If it is, would the condition of the coin really even matter? I have so many questions.... Report this Post to the Staff

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 12/03/2019 10:23 am Probably someone with a pair of side cut pliers altered this coin. Note how the metal extends past the outer edge of the coin? The first clue the coin was altered. Report this Post to the Staff
