I know it's a long-shot. At first I thought it was just a vandalized coin. Could this be one of the many possible results from being struck through feeder fingers? Also, how would they (PCGS) even be able to verify this? Cant wait to hear your thoughts on this one!
If it is, would the condition of the coin really even matter? I have so many questions....
Just a damaged coin. PSD. Not an error coin. Getting it graded by a TPG would be a big no no, since it's not worth anything. Just would be a big waste of time and money, with disappointment.
Probably someone with a pair of side cut pliers altered this coin. Note how the metal extends past the outer edge of the coin? The first clue the coin was altered.
