There appears to be a crack? (not entirely sure, maybe just PMD?) of some sort near liberty on this War Nickel. Its too bad it appears to have pvc / ED as it is a nice example with toning.

Nice grade though, it appears to be a die issue to me. I would try a 100% acetone soak to see if anything else comes off, it might.
