The drops of excess material are on his nose, and towards his ear a few spots... Is his ear doubled...? And is that a HUGE crack side to side cutting him in half... It is showing extreme die wear. 54% of the coins could look like from the old die and others as they age. So it is nice to know what it is, but nothing of value. It is a trainer of your eyes. If you have contact with other new collectors, you could show it as a "Show And Tell" coin to educate others in your area. Save coins like this in a quarter/half tube to be able to find them easier to use as a discussion/educational point to a new collector. Report this Post to the Staff
