I assume you are referring to the 1968-D on Coppercoins DO-004? The 8 in the date looks like it, but do you see any of the die markers mentioned? I can't tell from your photos.

Also I can't tell what that strange looking ridge thing is below the 8 by the rim of the coin.

Looks like MD to me. The doubling on 004 is in a slightly different position and, while it bears a superficial resemblance, it widens the base of the 8, while this seems to have reduced it. 004 also has doubling that goes through the lower loop of the 8 and out the other side, which I don't see here.

Also, the mint mark looks like it is in a slightly different location and tilted a bit compared to 004.

I believe the area near the rim is a gouge near as I can tell
