DoubleEagle20: That must have been what "The Great American Coin Hunt" was all about with the W Quarters!

I have yet to find one of those.

About ten years ago or so, I found a 1957 Roosevelt dime in my change back from the store. That was quite unexpected.
About twenty years ago, my Dad got a Mercury dime in change. I can't remember what year or mint mark it was, but I still have it.
When my Mom used to work at Speedway when I was a kid, she used to occasionally get a Franklin half or Walking Liberty half dollar.

..Beyond that, basically never. Lol. About two months ago, I did find a 1942 - P War Nickel that was really worn.

That certainly is! Silver finds in change are few and far between now.

A sentimental keeper!

That would be a fond memory. As I said way back, I used to find them from rolls—but that was thirty years ago.

Excellent!
