to the CCF The first thing to learn when looking for errors is when you have a divot, scratch, gouge, that has a corresponding buildup of metal above the surface of the coin, 99.9% of the time it's damage.

It's always a good idea to ask yourself "how could this happen?". Try to come up with an explanation of how a coining press could cause the damage you're seeing.
