I got 4 sealed plastic 2009 D lincoln rolls from the bank today, and I can go back tomorrow and get a bunch more. Should I save em, or sell em? How much would they go for? -Thanks for any help!
It was Bank of America, but I've been filling rolls just from boxes I search. About 1 roll a box from any bank. I was just wondering though cause these were solid rolls.
They're selling for about $5-6 on ebay. Leave them wrapped IMO. Solid date rolls will always be worth more.
They seem to have become more abundant of late. It's good to see them flowing more, I got a P in change last week, then I found one in the cup holder of my car a few days later....and...if that isn't enough: I went to the bank to grab another box today and asked the teller if she had any..she had one and didn't realize it until I asked her to check. LOLOLOLOL It was a fun trip there! I took about 5 minutes and explained to her all about the 2009 series, she knew NOTHING about it. This is something all collectors should take time to do, perhaps it will help grow the hobby.
So should I sell them? Or save them? I hate selling them, but If they really aren't "rare" I don't see the reason to keep them. BadThad-You do realize it's bad to get a teller into coin collecting right? I'm just kidding......... sort of ;)
