Not quite sure what you saw on the web and if anything it could have been a veriety that your coin isn't. Your coin is a normal strike and worth it's face value. The best thing you can do is to provide the one/one's you saw on the web for us to see.
That's just another normal cent with an exaggerated asking price, seller does not have a clue what he/she is talking about and hoping for a newbee victim to fall for it.
Just a made up ebay error. 68 was the last year they used the old wore out dies. They started out with new ones in 69. Compare 68 and 69, you'll see the difference.
