Hello,

I'm having trouble getting an uncirculated coin to scan properly. I have no problems with Proofs but this particular coin is giving me fits and I can't photograph it because that is an even bigger disaster. Any ideas?

use a black background and try it.... it works with mine.. and I have a low cost scanner.
just lay something black on top of the coin...

Hello,

I'm wondering, would a black piece of construction paper work, or is that too thin? I'll definitely try it and post the results here.

Thanks,
Rich
