I was really bummed when I saw the reverse because the coin is nice, especially the obverse, that's why I didn't post it in grading thread earlier but thought it was still worth it due clean obverse. Seeing the E clash outweighed the improper cleaning for me though so I picked it up anyway. Report this Post to the Staff

Some of the lighter contact marks look more like light circulation contacts than bag marks, but I don't see evidence of wear that could drop this below UNC. (Maybe this was one of the coins returned to the bullion depository that New Orleans added to even up bag counts?) To my eyes, the underlying obverse technical grade looks MS-63, reverse MS-64, net MS-63+, but detailed because of the reverse cleaning. I agree, definitely a coin worth picking up because of the VAM. Even with the reverse cleaning, this coin is definitely a nice pickup. Report this Post to the Staff
