Got both of these within the same week! The 50$ was from the bank, and the 2$ was her tip money where works!

Is the $50 a new design? I don't get to see $50's and $100's much, and I heard there is a new $100 coming, from an older thread - I would guess the $50 was done earlier?

Yups..

The first colorized $50 was series 2004; same as the $20.. Nobody really knows when the problematic $100s are coming out..

Those are cool finds, especially that CU $2 star with neat serial.. I would know from personal experience how awesome it is when one's girlfriend finds stuff for you lol

The 2$ looks like it was crumbled in the center but its not, its the reflection from the plastic sleeve. One day I hope she will bring home a all solids serial. ;)

I would keep the $2 and spend the $50.

True enough.
If I were selling those I would call the $50 a mini-radar and the $2 a repeater with bookends.
