Porous surfaces, yes, but most importantly, it is not pitted corrosion so it is not too bad of a problem coin. Porosity is quite common on old copper anyway so it is not as distracting as it would be on some other issues.

I was thinking $11 max. I know eventually I'll find a better one and don't need yet another coin I haven't gotten around to selling.

Its to porous, there isn't enough detail, theres something going wrong with the one, its to expensive. Thats the best I could come up with.

LOL, thanks. If 99 cents is too expensive, then I'll definitely pass.

Oh I like this coin. Has character, has the porosity, but it doesn't overwhlemingly detract from nice details. I'd spend 10-12 on this one.

I'm torn over what to tell you on this one. I think you will find it harder to locate a nice medium letter 1829 cent than you realize. I don't know how this compares to the one I already have but to me the price is still very attractive. (I admit I have a soft spot in my heart for 1829's) If you are definitely going to pass, I'll probably go for it.

Better than a lot of the ones I have in my Large Cent Album. IF it really bothers you, forget it. Otherwise temember it is not just a few years old, so you should expect a bit of wear.

It's not the wear or the porosity, it's the "fuzziness" of the detail. I just missed another ML that was in a lot with a decent 1818 and six other clunkers. went too high because of all the other stuff.

Keep an eye on it and if you can snipe it in under 15, have at it.

Don't buy it, you won't be happy with it. As soon as you get you'll want to upgrade it so save your money for a better looking coin.
