Very nice pick and set for that matter!

You've got big ones for doing that.

Told ya it would be a good one. Hehehehehe. Very nice and very nice 7070. That gold page is what keeps me from even thinking about tempting it.

what a waste!

The third picture down pretty much made you my friend for life.

Thanks Dave ... I figured I would get both responses, to break it out or leave it in the slab.

I think Jbuck has said this in the past, I will never sell this coin, so it does not need to be in the slab.

For me, I would sell my 1909 S VDB before or sold this coin.

Thanks muddled.

I do think I will want to upgrade around 20 coins .... But that will take a couple years.

very nice album you have put together there. I never thought that album would be the one that made collecting fun for me again as I was getting very close to being burnt out when I started mine. I had gotten more enjoyment out of that one album than I had gotten out of just about every other coin in my collection. I hope yours gives you just as much enjoyment as mine gave me throughout the years

That new $10 has a good original orangish look to it. You probably could have paid a bit less for raw, but for classic gold, it's not a bad idea to get it in certified plastic and pay a few bucks more.

I am not sure I mentioned what I paid for this $10.00 gold.

I have been watching ebay for a couple months. From what I saw on 1932 eagles, problem coins, cleaned or scratched, seem to be a little over melt. For NCG and PCGS coins MS 62 were $1150 to $1200, MS 63 $1250 and up.

I filtered my searching so I was only looking at 1932 dated coins. So there was not that many that made it to my watch list.

I am very happy with this coin and the price I paid.

I did ask one dealer what he would pay for the coin, before I broke it out of the slab, he would have paid $1090

Of course some members that buy and sell a lot of gold coins would have a better idea what these actually sell for.

Out of the slab,
" Free at last!, free at last!, free at last!"

GR58: Please don't gamble that little gem away!

Pity they don't make 7070 albums for slabbed coins, though.

Wow - nice set! Makes me want to get serious about a 7070 album.

Now I know what a 7070 album is..
With all the hoopla on PCGS coins in the older green label holders, a little joy came over me when you set this coin free..
What you should do now that it's out of the holder, next time you go to a decent coin show, ask the dealers what they would grade the coin at (just don't let them touch the coin). I used to do coin shows some dozen years ago and know most dealers will knock it down a point or two (point out all the negatives, etc.), then offer you gray sheet bid...
