Why be so crash I read a lady got one million US dollars for burning her hand on a cup of coffee at Mc Donalds ( I do not know whether that is true ) I was at a Belgian Mc Donalds yesterday and they were using a brush with a spraying bottle attached Spraying water on the floor and mopping it up leaving a liquid stain Without clear warning of cleaning area danger I think if they do the same in the US and you manage to break a leg slipping on that liquid stain you should manage 5 million dollars at least judging by the burnt hand allocation

THat is true about the lady. I also heard there was a man who sued his RV company because his vehicle crashed when he put it on Cruise Control so he could go make a cup of coffee in the back!!

Not particularly rare, but I suspect I'm the only person here with one of these: 2005 Chinese Zheng He Commemorative, in honor of the 600th anniersary of the famous Admiral's first voyage.

My vote is for the Roosevelt dime. No seriously. Has anyone seen the Cuban Pirates of the Caribbean series with the topless Anne Bonny and Mary Read silver and gold coins from 1995? Are there other countries that have done anything like that? That is hilarious. Check ebay for pictures. I don't own any (yet!) nor will I post pictures here for fear of offending.

I take it you mean coins like this one. Sorry, Mom would yell at me if I posted some topless woman on here. However it would get a Lot more people involved with coin collecting

Cuba has been issuing officially colourized coins since the mid-1990's - your coin was issued from the Cuban mint like that. It's part of a 1995 six-coin set of 1 peso cupronickel coins on the theme "Pirates of the Caribbean" - that's real pirates, not Disney ones - a fitting theme for coins of the largest Caribbean island nation. Piet Heyn was the most famous Dutch pirate/privateer, and is still regarded as a national hero in the Netherlands. He captured the Spanish treasure fleet in 1628. The other coins in the series are Blackbeard, Captain Kidd, Sir Henry Morgan, Anne Bonney and Mary Read. There's also, as Libertad Peso said, sets of silver 10 pesos, silver 50 pesos and gold 50 pesos featuring the same six pirates.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
