Looks prooflike to me. I'd judge MS64, but how it graded back then may be another matter altogether. Nowadays, that one little nick on the neck could limit its upside.

I'm going with a MS-64* because of the strongly PL obverse and non-PL reverse.

What a beauty! MS65 - dunno if it would make PL or DMPL because of the reverse.

MS64PL I don't think it's enough contrast to go full DPL (back in the early white ANACS holders they were PL or DPL, no DMPL) Though I have a DPL that is not as nice as this one in contrast.

I didn't know that old ANACS slabs had designations for DMPL obverse.....oh well, learned something new.

Matteproof, I think you had the closest guess. Although you didn't officially say MS65 obv DMPL

Guess I got too used to the PCGS and NGC grading.
I always loved the old white ANACS slabs, because they had so much info that other slabs didn't have (like net grades, etc).

Me either, I've only ever seen DPL on them. That's what I love about CCF learning something new each day I visit.

By the way nice Morgan!
