Nice John!
I'm at 63RB and am inclined to believe the seller. The toning appears genuine to me at least.

MS details. I don't think this one has a shot at problem free slab.

I couldn't care less about what the slab says, I just know I've seen a candidate for the prettiest '91 I've ever seen.

Definitely going with AU58 after looking at those pics, and do not think it will grade problem free due to the splotchy blue toning... at PCGS, I mean.

Really hard to tell with that toning. I will say MS details Questionable color.

Quote: I will say MS details Questionable color. however still a high grade coin. AU58/MS62 range.

Interesting to see the differences between this forums opinions and the opinions of the members at CollectorsUniverse.
13 respondents there said not original, while only 2 said it would grade, and 4 rendered no opinion. That's a pretty strong show of individuals saying it won't grade, too.

chasingtailbar: I should also point out that there have been 3 coins over the last few months that I posted in CU that were already certified or had been certified problem free by PCGS and NGC unbenounced to the community there. In each case, the vast majority called my coin AT and ungradable. Its almost a joke to me now to post any multicolored coin over there, everyone jumps on the AT bus.

Any plans to submit this one? I'm quite curious as to if they will grade it.

10 years ago, toned coins, IF graded by TPG's, were netted down. Now, there seems to be a HUGE rush to get toned (and read that...ANY type of toning) in a slab.
