Great info COOP. You are like the modern day Johnny Appleseed of the Coin Community. Question? Other than working on things related to coins 48 hours a day what else do you do. Retired? If not what profession. In any event, we here are so very fortunate to have you as our sounding board and teacher.

Well, part of coops post on July 26 was something I hadn't expected but thought it was great.

Coop wrote: "playing guitar and singing. Eventually I sang in public. (took me three months to learn) I sang for the first time in public in 1964 when I was 13" Sorry still haven't figured out the Quote thing.

I think a teacher as well, and if he wan't he should have been. Look at all the time and effort he puts into his responses, he has great patience and dedication.

Hey Coop - did you see my question above?
How much squash could a Sasquatch squash if a Sasquatch would squash squash?

Very nice. Thank you for the presentation. I need all the help I can get, with DD's especially. Always wondered about the overlays and wanting to use them. Now I see how to do it and have a starting point. Thanks for your efforts. Saving this to my favorites.

The lines are showing how much larger the hub doubling show as a spread compared with a normal coin.

Thanks Coop - I see where I was having trouble. For some reason my mind was stuck on the idea that the word "device" includes only the actual letter and not any of the doubled area (don't know why - just was).
It is obvious to me now, when seeing the doubling area is included into the overall "device" thickness exactly what you are saying. Thanks again for your patience and willingness to educate all of us (even when some of us - like me - are a bit dense!).

Thanks coop......I have always appreciated your educational evaluations. You oftentimes say "no it isn't", but you always explain why.
