I'm very sorry to hear that. That kind of thing can be completely unexpected. A few months ago, my great uncle, who worked in Alaska as a commercial fisherman, passed away at 69- he was just about as healthy as you can be at that age, in fact he was hiking when he suddenly collapsed from a heart attack. You may have lost part of one family, but you still have this one.  |

Ed - so sorry to hear of your loss. I agree - an opportunity to say goodbye means a lot in these situations.

Sadness. The loss of a close relative whacks us up along side the head with our own mortality. It is my sincere hope that your memories bring you comfort.
