The furious excitement over all the new changes we HAVE seen to the Cent, the Nickel, the Quarter, and even the Sacagawea, quite frankly, have me jaded and less enthusiastic every day. I kind of wish they had left them alone versus these particular changes. More appearances of Lady Liberty would be nice, but I fear it wouldn't be done right....or "over-done" is the more apt terminology prolly...lol.
Lady Liberty on some PAPER MONEY would be nice....the changes planned for some of it is NOT cool...but Liberty designs would be neutral and more acceptable. If you are going to remove a president from paper money....do it with Lady Liberty I say !

Personally, ALL of our coinage is due for some serious updating. Spend a few bucks and get some beautiful dies cast (the opposite of our ghastly Presidential dollars)and put a variety of lady liberties back on the coins.

All of them. Remove ugly men, return beautiful women.

All of them. It'd be more politically palatable to remove all the presidents (and sac) at once so everyone's equally annoyed or has some political cover to allow it to go forward. Replace them all with a unifying, coherent allegorical theme of American virtues with consistent design sense across the coins. It's also the chance to retire the cent (maaaaybe the nickel) and launch a thematically appropriate dollar coin and either a 2 or 5 dollar coin, with the removal of the $1 federal reserve note. Do it. Do it now! <-- Arnold Schwarzenegger voice at the end there.

First of all, something to chew on. In 1857, when we got rid of the Half Cent, it was worth about 14 cents in today's money. A great reason to ditch the penny. Now, I suggest that we redesign every coin, and bring back Lady Liberty. The 1916 designs were the epitome of US coinage and deserve better than the low detail gold remakes. I also like the simple but elegant Seated coins. How can you NOT like Gobrecht's eagle? #makecoindesignsgreatagain

I really don't like the quarter reverse being changed every three months. This has been going on for so long and in a way it's really nothing more than a gimmick so the mint can sell more coins to collectors. The designs themselves are, for the most part, bereft of any artistic integrity. Just throw John Flanagan's eagle back on the reverse and I'd be happy.

The dime. Every other series has had some sort of "different" coin the past 40 years. Second choice would be the half dollar.
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

We would need a total sweep of the artists presently at the mint id new Lady Liberty designs were to be used. Or at least a sweep of those who get to judge from the best submitted designs.
I would like to see our coins look retro & classic.

Personally, I find the Roosevelt dime most attractive of all current US coins. I would totally be building a date/mint set if they were a bit easier to get here. If I had to choose, I'd choose to change nickel. The new obverse is just

Get an acceptable design for all of our coinage, and leave it alone!. No Cent or Nickel, do the Three Cent with the last design. Initiate US$5 and US$10 coins. Until we move away from fiat money, make them all out of zinc. When we go to the silver standard make them all out of silver. Jest sayin'. ETA: Commemoratives could be the pull them in changers.
