Any 2-digit SN is low and will command a premium and there is definitely a market for ultra-low SNs such as that, even in "OK" condition. Congrats but as others have mentioned, we need pics to evaluate condition.

Nice find. If you plan on selling it, do some research first so you have a good idea of the value.

I got this as change from a restaurant over the weekend.
I collect them so I do not plan on selling it.
Do you guys have any idea what it might be worth?

I don't, but you might want to check ebay for any similar notes that have sold recently.

Has anyone else noticed the A3 Plate Position where A1 should be ? Besides a low serial number, it is a COPE switched plate position error.. Edited to add; Does anyone want to add what the correct serial number should be for this note (A3)?

Good input. I don't know small notes printed after 1960 or so very well, but I'm learning.

Quote: Has anyone else noticed the A3 Plate Position where A1 should be ? Yes, I always look for that. Plate swaps are fairly common on notes from the lowest sheets in the run. A note from this run with PP A3 would normally have serials ranging from 01600001 to 01700000.

Very nice find. A lot of us watch out for notes like this one, just not found very often.
