Very Nice , but my issue with this is with the U.S. Mint . How could they have created this new version of the Mercury dime without FSB . I blame the engraver and or designer . < Fuzzy317 > , hope I didn't through a monkey wrench into your new auction pick up or any other member that has recently acquired this Gold Merc . BTW , I realize that only a chosen few Mercury dimes were struck with FSB , but I would have thought a brand new 2016 version of this Dime certified and graded by PCGS as SP-70 would exhibit FB ,If not for nothing but to satisfy Mercury dime affectionardo's .

T-BOP, no worries. I am happy with the coin, and that's what matters.

Pardon my ignorance, but what does a grade of "SP70" represent? The "70" I get, but I've never seen a "SP" prefix before.

SP stands for Specimen.

I've been waiting for the price to drop. That's not happening.

I have one or two that has some split bands in the middle of my gold dimes collection, which I think that came from early strikes of later dies, but unsure about any of these slabbed MS-70. I just would like to know how many dies were made, and what kind of revisions done to it.
Nice pick up Fuzzy BTW!
