I'd say G-4 on the replacement, possibly an old cleaning, but obviously better than the original.

The 2nd coin is the one being replaced. It is still going to be saved, though, it's the very first FEC I ever bought 15+ years ago, I paid $3 for it.

The upgrade is better .... G 4 ..maybe G 6
Verdi-care should take the green off the reverse ... I hope.
I am sure it will look better than the replacement filling the hole
in the Dansco.

Not the best photos I've ever done, but this is post Verdi-Care treatment. Obverse has a die crack through STATES that wasn't visible in seller's pictures. Color is actually more in line with my other "white cents" than these photos show. Solid Good in my opinion.
