I'm in the midwest, and I am filling an album from coin roll hunting. I never thought I would find enough Canadian cents in rolls of Lincolns to do an album, but I have made much progress. I'd say, fill up the album! I found two George Vs in 2016.

finding the rest in circulation might be a task.

if you're open to receiving some in the mail I could help with several of the 1920s and most (if not all) of the rest in circulated condition.

PM me if interested

I say break the rule. I think that you might be using a PVC slip album so you may want to check that out.

I agree with the crowd recommending that you finish this set. You've put a lot of time and thought into it, and it would be a great item to have in your collection with all those holes filled.

Even if you couldn't get them all from circulation, it would always be a good reminder of the fun you had while you were pulling them out of rolls and change.

That makes sense moxking, but It sounds like I need to first get the coins out of this particular album before they start turning green.

Good idea. Give them a quick dip in acetone right after you take them out. Rinse them with water well, and pat them dry gently with a soft towel.

The small cents are fairly easy to find in coin rolls, but the large cents you have to buy or trade for from a coin collector as the large cents are too large to fit in regular coin rolls and it is very obvious so it would not be in change. Try searching through coin rolls for the small cents.
Good Luck!

@captainrich

If it's been going this long, don't give up now! I get the circulation thing, but I assume it is getting harder and harder to find them in the US. Although, I've searched less than a box total and found a 1981. I'll have to look through what I have and see if I could help you fill some gaps.

@ Captianrich

I don't know if you have noticed this or not, but State-side, Canadian coins can be found in antique dealers ect for pennies on the dollar (punn intended)
I have had several great additions to my collection when browsing through antique type shops state-side...
