I'm retired now, graduated high school in 1972. You know how it goes, some things will be gone and some added. I salute the police officers that solved this mystery. Big atta boy. |

The story didn't say how the drug dealer acquired the coins. Odds are the dealer only got them recently from some junkie who stole them from a collector. So was that collector the thief of '72 or had he purchased them say at a car boot sale and added them to his collection along with more purchases over the years (like the bicentenary coin). Odds are there is a collector out there who was an honest dupe and now he will never get his coins back.  |
