I think this is a coin where I wouldn't shed a lot of tears paying XF40 $. I only see a small mark to the left of the date and the color and tone are pleasingly uniform. Definitely PQ for the grade.

Very attractive VF-30. Minor obverse rim issue shouldn't be a problem.

Man that thing is such a solid VF. Because of the overall look, it might command XF money if you were to sell it one day. Bust/federal coinage is hot right now.

If you can get this coin for VF money, don't hesitate, buy it. It's very attractive and very original and a great example of what these should look like when they haven't been monkeyed around with.
