VF30. really close to 35 so I guess who was grading that day. looks like reverse was cleaned so I'm going with details designation, however, I would slap this one in my type set in heart beat.

The "real grade" is VF-30, and yes it is very close to VF-35. The color and surfaces are great, and that is unusual for these coins.

I'd say that NGC graded it EF-40.

It is a Cohen 4. The "a" and "b" part comes in when you can look at the edge, which is not shown here. Since the "b" (large lettered edge) is an R-8 coin, or at least it was in Cohen wrote the book,

Very Nice. By default I will agree with Bill Jones. That's a $3k coin.

A beautiful coin, well-struck with excellent detail and problem-free. Looks every bit the equal of my Liberty Cap graded NGC-40 so I'll guess it got at least a 40. Would sell for way more than $3000 at auction I'd expect.
