Strong high VF 35, but I wouldn't be surprised by a 40.
Surfaces look original.

XF45? I'm still a novice but trying to get better.

Odd wear - flat stars on one side, full stars on the other. Guesses so far are 25 to 45. I'll courageously land in the middle at VF35.

Full grade XF45 sharpness on both sides of the coin; attractive original toning. This coin has less bag marks/nicks, but more hairlines, than your 1867; this one also has a fairly noticeable scratch just left of the L in LIBERTY. The right side of the obverse is flatly struck, which is neither uncommon nor significantly detrimental. I'd buy both of them, one of each type (no motto and w/motto) but if you must choose one, the 1867 is the go-to.

Although it's really a VF+ an XF grade these days would be no surprise. I do like it better than the other one you posted despite the lower grade.

XF-40 seems like a fair grade. Surfaces look original and marks do not significantly detract. Nice example of a date not often seen!

The grading service was very generous. Must have been sent in by a big auction company. If a regular smuck sent it in it would have been graded no better than XF.

Amazing. Another poster showed us a PCGS Bust Half that is also 10 points overgraded. I agree with westernsky that the big boy submitters were likely the beneficiary of these grades.
