All that could be seen in the sellers pic was a tiny dot below the 4. Because of the lighting angle the rest of the doubling didnt show. I have been looking for this one for close to 20 years so that dot and markers were rather conclusive

I had to look at the link to see it, then realized it wasn't the devices that were doubled. Nice find.

John , they are expensive but a rare find and though weakly struck , this die has the distinction of being the widest spread doubled die of the entire 108 year series.

Stoneman. Since this topic has been brought back up, was this coin listed as a toned 1934? I was watching one that I thought was it and someone bought it right around this same time. Also did you guys see someone found one of these at 66 RED!
