I put two arrows here pointing to what looks like two bases of a number 1.
This is what I always look for in a doubled die. I would be just as excited as you if I saw this, but I cannot say yay or nay.
I'm not a DD guy.

Pretty sure this is what's called a "Pop Squeeze" MD error. Read this from either Mike Diamond or Ken Potter's write-up that what happens on the "single squeeze" presses that when th dies contact the coin at first it may be a bit off, squeezing tightens it up with a loud pop leaving what is seen here. A slight impression under the major detail where the die moved as it snapped in place. Boy, they described it so much better!

That's certainly interesting. I've not heard of "pop squeeze" MD but, I haven't read what you're reading Crazyb0.

The 2,1 and 4 definitely show notching which is normally the sign of a Doubled Die. I'll be waiting for others' thoughts.

If this is a pop squeeze MD - its still a non-common error correct? I like the looks of it compared to traditional MD.

All of the notching sure would make me think DDO if I found it.

I wish the pics were more high res.

Is this the same coin? In the first picture it really looks like a DDO, but in this last image it is clearly a damaged 1.

The original picture had me convinced you had found a new DDO variety. The most recent picture...not so much. Oh the difference lighting can make! I was really excited too -_-
