My concerns are that the shape of the second 9 looks slightly different than the first 9, and some of the letters on the reverse appear slightly too thick, including the bottom of the E in DIME, and the bottom of the N in ONE. Could the widening of the letters be due to metal flow on a late state die? Maybe I'm being too cautious....

Nice coin. A bit of the stretch marks from late die state.

Looks real enough.

But I can't tell whether there's any rubbing or not from those photo.

The rim is somewhat odd, as though the dies were slightly misaligned, but otherwise, the coin looks authentic.

The color, on the other hand, is bizarre, and I am tempted to think most of it is lighting.

I don't see any reason not to buy it if it looks good in hand and it's within your price/budget.

Looks real but there are some vertical scratches on the fasces that would make this a details coin IMO. Would still do nicely as a decent-looking album coin.

It came up at a local auction earlier this week. In hand, it still had that funky color, and it had the look of an old cleaning and retoning. Also, as Jaobler mentioned, some scraping along the lower fasces. So I passed.

Nice looking coin. Possibly it is your photo but that middle band looks wavy.

The color is a little off but I like the detail on this coin. It looks authentic to me. I would buy it.
