Just some additional thoughts. Take your pictures outside the cellophane or case. Take the rev. of the coin as well. A little acetone might clean him up a bit.

USSID18 OK. I thought they were pretty clear especially on the We but will do. As for acetone, I personally view the tone on it as a thing of beauty but it's always the eye of the beholder.

Obviously looks better and more clear. Nothing up with the 4. These others looked interesting.

Not very clear but the best I can do. Looks like two points to me.

That D looks like a rpm but I'm no expert. I'll see if I can verify it.

That D mint mark jumped out at me! Have you checked different websites?

Never mind, Willburton beat me to it.

It's a little crusty to catch a lot of the fine detail. I hadn't noticed the MM until you mentioned the reverse. Kind of a nice surprise.

Nice RPM, but not a doubled die obverse. Looks like machine doubling/damage on the devices you posted. On a doubled die, the areas in question are large in size and not reduced.

Hey, thanks for the info Coop. I guess that I'll take an RPM as a consolation. Take care.
