My guess is that these are part of the $8 dollar silver coinsissued by the Mint starting in 2013 depecting the Canadian Wildlife. They are 99.99 silver, 1.5 tr oz, 38.1 mm in diameter and 4.5 mm thick. the bullion coins were issued in plastic tube. The proof in clam style case
Over $$30 a piece at silver current price.

So here's the story. My father allowed me to look through his closet, which you might think is weird, but it isn't. He says I can keep any electrical junk and old coin collections I find in there. I inquired him about the coin boxes. He says it was from someone who borrowed money a while ago and needed to pay it back. This person had become successful in bitcoin... Anyways, he said he might open it if all 300 coins would sell more than the whole box. I told him that he should wait a few years. He did let me keep an automatic toilet flusher that I am using for an electric scooter conversion and I am fine with that :)

What a crazy conversation.

Your fathers closet is very interesting to say the least. I'd go back and dig deeper.
