When taking images, try to include the same areas as the site uses. Then you can make side by sides to compare them with. Your images and his. Make sure to pit his name on his images if you post them. Copyright issues.

Thank you, Waynoah83. I noticed the pics I took last night maybe misleading (hopefully)! I will take some closeup pics for 2nd shot tonight.

Looks like your N in "united" is wonky like mine.. That's the technical term, right?

Hi NewMember, I am not sure what's the technical term myself. It just stands out under the microscope. I chekced the1983P LMC DDR-2 example in varietyvista.com and found a lot of match! This coin is a little beat up so probably not worth for slabbing. Thank you for checking and feedback!

Jim too bad your coin looks messed up a bit. But hang onto it for now. The die state is very early. On New Members coin I could find matching die scratches for Wexlers' WDDR-003. I wish I had better images of your coin. Every place I want to look at the devices for hub doubling, it is dinged.

Hey Jim, that's still a very nice and incredible find, even if it's not in the best of shape. Very nice Doubled Die Reverse! That's a keeper! Make sure to hold on to this, put it in a 2x2, and label it.
Errers and Varietys.

Coop, did you happen to see what one in that shape sold for?

No. Just the image on PCGS. I had to look at all of them to find the best one. I was determining the die state from the obverse, but I believe this one is a EDS reverse. LMDS on the obverse.

This one is an earlier die state. You might compare these images with your coin Jim? Made a duplicate of each image with your coin. The n make some side by sides. If you can't do this, take the images and email them to me and I can take a look or create side by sides. Make the images slightly larger so I can rotate them as needed. If you have to send them one at a time. Email is on members info page.
