That is a beautiful coin with really obvious clashing--very nice!

One of the nicest I've seen.

Very nice. Did you buy it as such or was it cherry picked?

Thanks all for the kind words! KK I found this one (plus a second one) in a B/U roll of 1966 cents I bought off ebay.

Looks like it was in an earlier die state (EDS) when this first clash happened. Nice keeper coin.

Not bad bats but that's not the one I want...I want that MS61 BRN you got stashed away.Nice find. Where on ebay did you find a roll of 66's? That in itself is a score! The few I picked up at thrift stores had purple sulfur leach to varying degrees from 5 decades in same paper roll. Tough year to find in old bankrolls. Nice one.

Coop those graphics are awesome, thanks! Cammy I know what you want... But check out the other coins I posted last night for another one you'll like although you've got that one covered quite nicely now. Got the 66's from a BIN that came up a couple weeks ago and they've been sitting here waiting for me to get home. The clashes were the only thing of note but the coins were quite nice.

Now THAT'S an interesting clash. I'd love to find one like that staring back up at me.

Tbats:

Finding it in a roll was a priceless moment, I'm sure. Reminds me when I found a web note in a pack of 100 singles last year. Wasn't "crisp" Unc. like yours, but not too badly beat up, and a 1988 to boot.
