USSID18, If you want to remember where this is, bookmark it. A thread pointing to this thread was a waste of bandwidth, and has been removed.

Fuzzy317-
I know where this thread is. I subscribed to this thread. So I see new entries. I wanted joe to post a link to the error thread, if he creates one so I don't miss it.
There needs to be a way you can tag/alert members to specific threads.

@fuzzy317, the post was created on the error forum, as there is now a question of the coin originally posted here in fact has an error. Both posts had directed to each other as there are two topics being discussed here.
1. Grade 2. Error
Where do you suggest it lives?

Since this thread mostly discusses the error, I will move it to the error section.

Die wear on the back of the coat on the obverse, lamination on the reverse.

It follows the "grain" of the rolling marks - this is a nice small retained lamination.

Quote: So the next question who do you believe. The Canadian or your fellow American/New Yorker? USSID18: Frankly - I'd believe the collectors whose expertise lies in error coins. I happen to be one of them, and I am also Canadian...

I would say without much reservation it is a lamination. you can see evidence into the wheat. If some form of damage how can you explain the outline in the wheat ear ?
