I have a problem finding any of the territory (State) quarters...the W's are so much lower mintage...not sure of my chances with them.

At the price those sellers want, this is an easy pass. The idea is novel, and with time the price will drop. 10,000,000 is a sizable sum, even across several designs.

Either design out currently is going for $10-$15 on ebay ungraded now, give it another week or two more probably will be under $10. They aren't crazy priced anymore really. Seems to be settling right around where I thought they would for ungraded examples about $8. |

Vacationing at Lake Powell,Az...Dam gift shop has new rolls of Lowells but wont sell them,asked for 4 dollars worth for penny smasher machine all Denvers..2 gas stations handed out Denvers in change along with Subway subs and McD's none of them would sell rolls..Only 2 banks in the town (not very friendly to vacationers) At least I got some MS-67+ Lowell examples..On to Utah,,,the search continues

HI Greasy Fingers. For W's you'd want rolls of American Memorial Park, or War in the Pacific park which shipped from the mint yesterday. You won't find Ws in the Lowell rolls, those quarters were shipped before the Ws were finished and mixed in. So no Ws will be in the Lowells.
You shouldn't have a problem from any bank if you ask for 1 or 2 rolls of quarters "for laundry" whether you have an account or not. Most every bank will do that much for a non account holder. It's if you try to get any more than that.

This seller on ebay says he found the 3rd W design, War in the Pacific already. Not much info from his listing though and could be faked and he stalls on delivery or something... who knows. I was in Austin week before last. Went to a bank and got four rolls of quarters. found 9 of the Lowell W's. Went back and got four more rolls but nothing in those.

got 4 rolls...lots of states and parks...then bingo, a mint 2018 W American Memorial Park...got rolls this morning at a supermarket
Add Surprise AZ to map :)
this was better than metal detecting or Goodwill bargains
