Okay, so after reading my assignment, I am thinking this is a coin struck with a capped die where the cap struck an intruding coin creating a brockage on the die cap which created a counterbrockage on the coin of a giant Lincoln. Still a bit confused but I can see how that could happen.

Excellent find and great LINK E&V. That TY is a tad large also.

Beautiful error. I personally don't think asking $300.00 for an error of that caliber is asking to much. It is a rare find and hard to come by.

Thanks everyone! And I changed the title to more accurately reflect the coin for future searches to find it.

That is amazing! I remember years ago somebody posted one similar, but I can't find it.

Struck through a mid to late stage capped die where the die cap is a full brockage piece.
Planchet was struck but stayed in the collar. A planchet was fed in and struck creating a full brockage coin. This coin sticks to the obv die and the lower coin is ejected. Coins continue to be struck between the rev die and the obv brockage stuck to the obv die. As these coins are struck the brockage cap spreads and thins to the point where the details of the obv die start to show through. This coin is then struck is then struck.

Awesome coin! I still haven't found anything crazy in an obw roll.
