I don't see any wear either. Nice MS-65BN.

MS65 though I wish the obverse had as much luster as the reverse

Hmm , how is it that coinfrog ,hfjacinto and myself called this coin an AU ? And everybody else thinks it's up there from MS to MS-65 ? What we have here is a ''Failure to Communicate '' .( Cool Hand Luke 1967 ).

Like the coin guy says "grading is subjective"
I based my grade on color. A brown coin to me has had some circulation. I also checked photograde and this coin didn't look like it was as good as the MS examples shown.

Quote: Like the coin guy says "grading is subjective" It would be neat to send the same coin to ANACS and then PCGS and then NGC and see what the average grade is . John1

I'm also in the MS-64+ boat on this one, I believe it has just been stored in a way the reverse was better preserved, who knows, but Abe looks better than I will at 111 years old lol

The obverse is throwing me off, but overall it still has nice eye appeal. I'm gonna say AU-58

I see evident wear on the forehead, jaw and particularly the hair above the ear.
