If I recall correctly, those holder were for purchase by anyone directly from Coin World.
Coin World did NOT encapsulate those coins.
Basically the holders were just expensive 2x2's or flips.
If you can save money on S&H, then crack them out.
The holders themselves mean nothing.

Actually the holder should open rather easily along the edge.
Take the coins out, sell them and keep the holders for your collection.

just generic slabs that should crack out easily. Plus, you will get better, more accurate pics of the coin cracked out. Would sell quicker with less chance of return issues IMO.

not sure you'll be able to turn a profit either way after ebay/paypal fees and shipping

Especially because if you mail them without tracking, you run the risk of getting an item not received claim and eating the cost of a sale.

Even if you can ship them with just a 55 cent stamp and no tracking after fees you will have to get $4.40 each just to break even.

Maybe just sell them all in one lot? Not sure I'd want to spend the time doing them individually hoping to make 50 cents on each after fees and shipping.

FWIW, don't crack them, just open the slab using the finger notches...

And you might be able to sell the slab as a lot for 50 cents each. They cost $1 each new.

In the case of these shells, Amos Advantage, there are several other companies. And in the case of used ones, many dealer sell used tubes, holders, albums, why not used slab shells as well? The shells aren't sealed so opening them doesn't damage them, so why not reuse them?

I have purchased many (different brand) for my Morgans, Peace and some Ikes. They pop open easily. Pop them open to take pics of the coins, close them back up and sell them.
