I've had the privilege of viewing and handling some incredible examples. From the few choice AU to MS ones we have in the shop, to a few of the 1804 Dollars I can say that there is a reason that this is my favorite american coin.

Great article. I suggest if you only read the initial part, clicking to expand that article to read it in full. Yes, as a Type Set collector, it's needed, and I'm fortunate to be able to have purchased a nice one for my Type Set (1798). Yes, this coin is old, and has a lot of historical meaning. However, while it's one of my very few coins valued above $10,000, I have to admit it doesn't move me. I like so many of my other coins better, including Seated dollars and Half Dollars, Capped Bust Half and Bust Quarter, etc. Steve

Your offers are WAY TOO LOW! I clearly indicated I like Seated halves and Capped Bust Halves better than this plain Bust Dollar (lol).

They were the "wrong" half dollars.
