I've had the privilege of viewing and handling some incredible examples. From the few choice AU to MS ones we have in the shop, to a few of the 1804 Dollars I can say that there is a reason that this is my favorite american coin.

Great article. I suggest if you only read the initial part, clicking to expand that article to read it in full. Yes, as a Type Set collector, it's needed, and I'm fortunate to be able to have purchased a nice one for my Type Set (1798). Yes, this coin is old, and has a lot of historical meaning. However, while it's one of my very few coins valued above $10,000, I have to admit it doesn't move me. I like so many of my other coins better, including Seated dollars and Half Dollars, Capped Bust Half and Bust Quarter, etc. Steve    Edited by Winesteven

Your offers are WAY TOO LOW! I clearly indicated I like Seated halves and Capped Bust Halves better than this plain Bust Dollar (lol). A day without fine wine and working on your coin collection is like a day without sunshine!
