I lean toward MS-63, but MS-64 would not surprise.
Rest in Peace

Its not the first coin in the set so maybe its niy the beginning of my set.. but before I was just getting any that caught my eye. This purchase is so significant I decided its only worth it if doing a set. Its gonna sit next to a few other beauties.

Thanks for the video! Luster looks very strong which is not always the case for uncirculated Indian quarter (and half) eagles.

Yea that one is VERY lustrous especially for the grade. The luster makes up for some of the hits you see in photos. Its a gorgeous coin IMO and better in person. it has a glimmery look which is unique to the date. They have a granular and satin mix which almost makes the luster sparkle. So the 1911D has a recognizable texture not see in any other dates of the series and I am happy to have found an example that shows it in hand.
