I like it but it baffles me that the reverse Wheat cent is not badly damaged with the overstruck Lords Prayer obverse? How was this done unless somebody has a fake or real reverse die? |

Already, thinking a little bit, I bet that it's a very thin shell glued over the obverse. Sort of those you see in magician cent to dime tricks.

I like it not sure how it was done but wondering if it was made during WWII or Korean war.

@ TNG and others...look at the reverse rim, "fin" wraps around the entire coin. Makes me think the reverse was set into the "prayer plate"....  Neat find Edited by Greasy Fingers

Looks like the obverse side was added over the coin. Note the wrap around on the edges of the reverse.

Should have give more info. Here is a side view! 3.46gm Doesn't appear to be married.Those "fins" are on both sides.  Edited by moose59

Well the first picture of the obverse reverse almost makes it look like it was in a bezel at one time. But as Mr Frog stated - the weight points to some kind of addition to the coin itself.  Edited by Rothery
