 with that. There must be a lot of space in those minting presses for a die to move that far out of alignment.

I've seriously never seen anything like it. I would have made a big bet, just looking at the obverse, that it was O/C.

Coinfrog, I am more impressed with you being impressed than I am about the coin itself. As long as you have looked at coins, that says a whole lot.

Excellent example. Congrats.
This is a great example to show how a tilted die can cause extreme MAD's. The more it tilts, the farther the rim gutter on the die gets from it's normal rim position.
