Just for fun I purchased the 2 and it still said only 2 left. I cancelled the order. My theory was correct. Seller is fishing to sell what inventory they have at a higher cost.

For example if you get someone who orders 10 incuse coins and 2 people who order solar system coins, it counts the solar system as more popular? I would just assume selling out that fast you would see this coin as #1-#3 on that email. I'm not disagreeing that there is more demand for the incuse coin, I'm just fairly amazed at how quickly it sold out, although I shouldn't be when you consider price point/fv/new tech. Also I'm impressed at how much Mario is making selling these things on ebay. |

It might make a difference to someone who's big into collecting the 2 dollar bills. I just noticed the pictures of the Two Dollar set on the RCM website are showing the Crow-Bouey signatures. I might be incorrect, but I think the RCM issued BRX bills have the Bonin-Thiessen signatures. Edited by rjlavoie

@rjlavoie: Thanks for sharing your set! I haven't ordered this one, but I did purchase the $2 Coin, Token and Note Set offered by the RCM back in 1996. The combination of $2 items made for an interesting story about the new coin's introduction. Collecting history one coin or medal at a time! (c) commems. All rights reserved.

Anyone have any idea if the RCM is going to offer a 2 oz or 3 oz Silver Super incuse coin as they did a couple of years ago? The 1 oz SML looks extremely impressive, can only imagine a 3 oz Silver Super Incuse SML coin  |

With a mintage of only 425, it must have went quick. Just noticed the 2 oz. Pure Silver Coin - From the R&D Lab: Flying Loon - Mintage: 425 (2020) as a Sold Out Pre-order.

@rjlavoie YUP that R&D lab flying loon was sold out by Diamond level. I don't know why they even bothered to send me a notice at the prestige level only to reply that it was sold out after I placed an order with my rep. disappointed.

CC&C was selling Flying Loon this morning. I was able to submit an order before seeing "Out of stock". Hopefully my order went through.
$630 for 59g of silver is very expensive though.
