Thanks John1, the top site wouldn't download, but I bought the one on ebay you posted.

I won't , I tried to buy another coin from the seller but he only allows 1 buy per customer every 10 days. Lol that's not necessarily a bad thing, make sure what I get is legit.

Can y'all do me a favor, go this picture obverse side, and zoom to the hair. At the top you'll see a scratch or crack in the hair line. I just posted another picture from the same seller, with a blue tone color of the same year coin. Go to the same obverse picture and tell that's not the same crack or scratch?

Looks the same. It may be the same coin he is advertising, but might send a different one than the one shown. John1

I was going to mention the die crack in the hair of maybe a lamination.

I recall that a die crack in that location isn't that unusual. I see a few on Heritage archives, not exact but I didn't look at that many. If you compare the two reverses I don't think it's the same coin. The other one has a few blemishes and dings that aren't the same. The obverses could be from the same die - the die chips in IBER look the same, but there are a bunch of little ticks that don't match up.

He emailed back saying they came from the same roll and could have the same die crack and chips, so I told him if it's the exact same coin I bought I'll continue purchasing from him, a lot. We will see. Kind of leaning towards bs.

Definitely struck from the same die as the other one you posted, but not the same coin. Lots of marks that don't match. The one you bought off ebay is using a representative photo, probably the best example from a BU roll, so what you get is a bit of a risk. But at least it's likely that it will be an original BU coin.

Quote: I tried to buy another coin from the seller but he only allows 1 buy per customer every 10 days. Hmmm, why would a seller have this kind of regulation? Isn't his goal, as a dealer, to make as much money as possible?
